What Megan’s up to Right Now
Since September 2008, Megan’s been working for a digital agency in Washington, D.C. on a bevy of projects for clients in the energy, environment and health care sectors.
Her daily duties include:
- Leading content creation and strategy for an advocacy group promoting safe medicines
- Playing assistant editor to the agency’s largest client, a multi-million dollar coalition in the energy arena
- Ghostwriting for corporate blogs and PR columns
- Guiding social media campaigns in-house, as well as for clients
- Helping clients launch new campaigns, including EveryMotherCounts.org, led by maternal health advocate Christy Turlington Burns, in support of her new documentary, “No Woman, No Cry.”
- Writing crisis communications plans, including one for a large hospital system in the Western U.S.
When not in the office, Megan stays busy with side projects and non-billable fun stuff…which is why her portfolio is hideously outdated. She sends her apologies.
